Global/Domestic Payroll Administration
Process payroll according to schedules (weekly, bi-weekly, monthly), process and types of pay, i.e., hourly, salaried non-exempt, salaried exempt, 1099 contractors); and comply with all Country, Federal, State, Municipal and government reporting requirements,
Administer all benefit and record documentation related to payroll, manage and administrate time off usage and accruals and an online time and attendance platform used to record employee time sheets, maintain accurate personnel data, ensure all benefits programs are in compliance with state and federal laws, manage all related third-party vendor relationships effectively, and ensure all eligible employees are enrolled timely and accurately.
Work closely with supervisors and employees, to educate them regarding payroll and benefits procedures and ensure that payroll and benefits functions support program operations.
Global/Domestic Payroll System Management and Maintenance
Responsible for managing and administrating all aspects of a Global and US-multi-state payroll for all employees and contractors.
Prepare, distribute, and report accurate weekly, bi-weekly/semi-monthly payroll, including but not limited to the calculation of wages, overtime, benefit deductions, garnishments, taxes, etc to ensure compliance with Country, federal, state, and local laws.
Perform reconciliations, audit against non-payroll systems, and ensure compliance with policies, procedures and applicable rules and regulations.
Create custom reporting as needed to meet deadlines and support other departments with payroll information as needed to complete their processing and reporting needs.
Manage and maintain the online time and attendance platform for all employees, including training users, set-up of user accounts and maintenance of data and user groups in the system.
Reconcile all payroll activities for quarterly and annual tax filings, and period financial closes including ensure accurate and timely delivery of annual W2s. 1099s and Government Slips.
